Glacier Pullman Express

Simply luxurious

Spend two days travelling in Alpine Classic Pullman coaches from St. Moritz to Zermatt – or vice versa. Visit the church in Zillis with its medieval frescoes, take the aerial cableway up the Eggishorn in the ‘Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch’ UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, or explore the popular mountain village of Zermatt.

Take a seat in the luxurious saloon coach dating from the 1930s. The historical train composition featuring Pullman coaches and a Gourmino dining car is hauled to Disentis by a vintage “Crocodile” electric locomotive. You spend the night in a cosy mountain hotel in Andermatt before continuing your journey on the vintage train the next day. The Furka mountain line conjures up the era of the railway pioneers: powered by fire and water, a steam engine hauls you over the pass before the final highlight on the famous Glacier Express route: the Matterhorn in Zermatt.
