Travel in the legendary panoramic cars past the rugged heights of the Bernina massif through sun-drenched Valposchiavo to Tirano in Italy. Wine has been cultivated here in Valtellina since pre-Roman times. Unique climatic conditions provide the best prospects for long-lasting and expressive wines. Your journey on the Bernina Wine Express will take you to the renowned La Gatta vineyard – the “pearl of Valtellina”. On an exclusive tour, you will discover the picturesque vineyards and the ancient wine cellar of the former monastery from the sixteenth century. Taste typical Valtellina red wines under expert guidance and get to know the culinary side of Valtellina over an aperitif and lunch. The Bernina Wine Express will then take you back to the Upper Engadin with spectacular views of unique landscapes.

The flat-rate package includes a return trip aboard the Bernina Express from St. Moritz to Tirano (incl. seat reservations) as well as the following services:
