“Bernina Crocodile” & Alpine Classic Pullman
Experience railway culture on the Bernina Line
You can experience railway culture up close along the Bernina Line. The legendary RhB Ge 4/4 182 “Bernina Crocodile” and the elegant Alpine Classic Pullman saloon cars are in operation between St. Moritz and Poschiavo on 8 February and 11 October 2025. Immerse yourself in the wondrous world of railway history on this nostalgic trip. Nostalgia, shiny metal and the smooth running of the mechanical system create a special experience.
What began in 1889 with the opening of the line from Landquart to Klosters, has become a 384-kilometre network set amidst Swiss mountainous terrain. Enjoy a piece of railway culture in the art deco style of the early twentieth century. The Bernina Line with its scenic charms is already unique – on a nostalgic trip, you can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings twice as much.
